How we look after your personal data — in plain English.
Last updated: 27 June 2026
Lintel is software for tradespeople, provided by PSA Studio (operated by Paul Smith, a sole trader based in Ayrshire, Scotland). In this policy, “we”, “us” and “Lintel” mean PSA Studio.
If you have any question about your data, email privacy@psastudio.org.
Data protection works differently depending on how you’re using Lintel:
We use a small number of trusted providers (“processors”) to run the service. We don’t sell your data. They only process it to provide their part of the service:
| Supabase | Database, login and file storage (hosted in the UK/EU — London region). |
| Netlify | Website hosting and server functions. |
| Anthropic (Claude) | The AI that turns your messages into draft admin (quotes, summaries). Your content is processed to provide the feature and is not used to train AI models. |
| Brevo | Sending our emails (your results, reminders, updates). |
| Twilio | WhatsApp messaging, where enabled. |
| Telegram | Messaging, if you connect the Telegram assistant. |
| Stripe | Payment processing, when billing is switched on. |
Some providers may process data outside the UK/EU. Where they do, this is covered by appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement).
We keep your account data while your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards. Trial “demo” data is deleted automatically when it expires. Enquiry details are kept while we follow up and for a reasonable period after. You can ask us to delete your data sooner — see your rights below.
Under UK data protection law you can ask to: see the data we hold about you; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to how we use it; get a copy to take elsewhere; and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email privacy@psastudio.org and we’ll respond within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Lintel uses only essential cookies and local browser storage — to keep you logged in and remember basic preferences. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
